Easy Broccoli with 'tang hoon' ( 冬粉 )




Ingredients
200g broccoli ( cut into small pieces )
50g dried prawn ( soaked overnight )
50g tang hoon
2 shallots ( cut into slices )
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp light soya sauce
200ml water
Some oil

Preparation
1. Heat up 2 tbsp oil in the saucepan and stir fry the shallots until fragrant. Dish up the fried shallot for use later.
2. Add the soaked dried prawn and 200ml water. Cover to simmer over low fire for 10 minutes.




3. Put in the tang hoon and broccoli. Do not stir ; just cover to simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Add 1 tbsp oyster sauce and 1 tbsp light soya sauce . Stir to mix the ingredients evenly.
5. Dish up onto plate and sprinkle the fried shallot on top.
6. Serve while hot.
