Grandma's special chicken wings



Ingredients
12pcs chicken wings
2" ginger ( cut into strips )
2 " ginger ( pounded and mix with 2 tbsp water for ginger juice )
6 shallots ( cut into slices )
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp light soya sauce
3 tbsp dark soya sauce
2 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp oil

Preparation
1. Marinate the chicken wing with 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp light soya sauce, 2 tbsp ginger juice and 1 tbsp sugar for 2 hours.
2. Heat up 6 tbsp oil in saucepan and stir fry the shallots and ginger.




3. When the shallots and ginger turn light brown, lower the flame.
4. Add in 1 tbsp sugar and stir to melt.








5. Add in the chicken wings, oyster sauce and dark soya sauce.







6. Stir fry to mix evenly. Cover to simmer over medium flame for 25 minutes.
7. Stir from time to time to make sure the chicken wings do not stick to the bottom of the saucepan.
8. Dish out to serve.
