Chinese Barbecue Pork (Char Siew)



Ingredients
500 g pork ( cut into thin and long strip )
2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
2 tbsp Char siew sauce
2 tbsp mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp light soya sauce
2 tbsp dark soya sauce
2 tbsp honey ( Do not add in to marinate the pork)

Preparation
1. Marinate the pork with the above ingredients except honey.
2. Leave to marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.






3. Roast in preheated electric roaster or oven at 180 degreesC for 10 minutes. Brush semi-roasted pork with honey and continue to roast for further 15 minutes for it to turn brownish.
4. Turn to the other side and do likewise.
5. Cool on rack before cutting.
